The job includes significant amounts of multi-tasking, but the ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented and possesses in-depth knowledge of patient care procedures.
We are looking for a professional who believes that patients should be treated as people rather than numbers in a file, and who understands the value of compassionate service.
Hours:
Monday 8:
30a to 5:
30p - Tuesday & Wednesday 8a to 12p - Friday 8a to 4:

Responsibilities:
- Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller's needs yourself - Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on Physician and PA availability - Record patient information such as vital signs and changes in medical history - Administer injections by following written and verbal instructions and document doses in patient's EMR - Communicate with the Providers and relay messages to patients based off of the Provider's notes - Other duties as assigned by clinical protocols - Uphold all health and safety standards - Provide patients with support and guidance as needed Skills:
- Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) - preferred - 1
years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital (but not required) - Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent problem solving skills Job Type:
