Senior Java Software Engineer will support the Air Vehicle Planning System (APS), a large software application which performs the force level mission planning for air breathing vehicles. The application consists of 2.4M lines of executable code. Will support the modernization effort of this application using Agile methodologies.

Experience: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Scientific field or equivalent experience. Employees in California must have a Bachelor's degree in the applicable field, or an applicable certification, equivalent certificate or any required license. Equivalent experience will not be considered.
Required Skills: - Proficiency with Web Application Development to build and maintain web applications.
Proficiency with Java and JavaScript/HTML to write new software and maintain and debug existing software.
Profiency with Test Driven Development to write and maintain automated testing software.
Ability to obtain security clearance for access to classified information.
Preferred Skills: - Mission Planning experience.
Proficiency using C+
to write new software and maintain and debug existing software.
Familiar with Requirements Analysis and the processes involved to decompose and derive requirements.
