Air Traffic Control Specialist

Incumbent is responsible for tactical and strategic support of multiple program areas such as training, quality control, traffic management, airspace and procedures, planning and requirements and other facility program areas. Makes recommendations for new projects/studies taking into account available resources and the accomplishment of facility goals and objectives. Applies expertise toward completion of projects/studies and facility reports. Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of equipment, facilities and procedures. Conducts investigations, evaluations and briefs facility personnel. Develops methods to improve customer service and the quality of support provided. Support the facility or District by providing verbal or written briefings when requested. Specialized
Experience:
1) Must have held an FAA 2152 FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks);OR2) Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS Facility. NOTE:
An employee who has been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility that is upgraded is considered to meet qualification requirements of the upgraded position;OR3) Must have held an MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
